Week 6

Five months old, going on six. Wowsers!

At approximately six months in age, your dragons are now going to get the chance to actually fly. Once okayed by the weyrlingmaster, and baring no injuries, the dragons will be allowed to lift off from the bowl and start to take flight about the Weyr.

At first, it will be simple turns about from one end to the other. As their skill, strength, and endurance improves, they'll be allowed to fly within the inside perimeter of the Weyr. They will be given permission to fly to the Weyr's beach, but not beyond that point. There is a lot of jungle and ocean out there, and not many easy spots for a newly airborn weyrling to land well. We don't want them straining themselves, and having to walk balk all that distance.
